Zamzar – A free online file conversion application [Review]

Have you ever been to Shanghai? Shanghai is among the largest cities in the world.

I Have been to Shanghai twice. The Bund is really wonderful. Standing at the highest point of Shanghai- the Oriental Pearl TV Tower or the Sightseeing Hall of Jinmao Mansion, you can fully enjoy all the magnificent buildings and the beautiful urban views.

I has recorded some video using my Canon on Shanghai. Now i want to edit my video using Windows Movie Make on my PC, but i can`t import my video to WMM. I contact an expert, he recommend a helpful tool-Zamzar to me.

Steps:

As my video clips is small, it works well. I convert my files to WMV format, then import to WMM easily. However, when i try some other movie, problems arise:

1:The maximum supported amount is 100MB
2:It says you can choose several files at a time, but all the files formats must be the same
3:When convert, error appear”There has been an internal error processing your request (Error 101-25-z25), please try re-submitting it”

Pros: Entirely online, no signing up for anything required, tons of conversion options, free account=100mb limit, stores for 24hrs, relatively fast even with big files etc

Cons: If converting from a url and when downloading from the emailed link, a webpage appears as advertisement. Lowest of the paid accounts isn’t given priority and still has to see the ads. free version takes a little longer to convert.

Totally, it is a good tool, as it can help solve some problems.
