Smartphones Coming Soon In Year 2012
BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981
BlackBerry Porsche is a limited edition luxurious smartphone one can only dream of. Not only it’s luxurious, it has all the features to beat it’s competitors too. The Smartphone was announced way back in October 2011, but will make it to the market in first quarter 2012. With size measuring 115 x 67 x 11.3 mm, it’s sure is beauty to behold, not only that, you’ll be dazzled by it’s metal clad slim design and the way QWERTY keyboard is bestowed. With 8 GB of internal storage space(further expandable up to 32 GB) and 768 MB RAM it’s a pretty decent specs for a luxurious metal. 5 MP camera with all the other features, capable of recording 720p HD video can be enjoyed on a crystal clear display, it’s surely tends to fall heavier on your pockets. Not only that it’s all packed with all sort of connectivity features too. It’s powered by 1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU and is running the latest BlackBerry OS 7.0. Available in UK, this luxury will cost you about $1,998 US. Exuberant over this!! Isn’t it?
LG Prada 3.0
Next in the big list comes LG Prada, LG managed to make it’s presence in the year 2012 with this Android Smartphone. Announced in the last month, will make it to the market by February 2012. What’s so amazing about this device is, it’s super slim profile with the thinness of 8.5mm(hey it’s LG). In this slim profile lies all the features and specifications one can expect from a smartphone in year 2012. Display measuring 4.3 inches having IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. 8GB internal storage space(expandable up to 32 GB) with 1 GB of RAM and 512 MB ROM along with a Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor will surely going to smoothen your experience with the LG Prada. 8 MP snapper(3264×2448 pixel) with LED Flash, video camera capable of recording 1080p videos @30fps. Enjoy video calling with the 1.3 MP secondary camera. Just fall a bit short as it’s running over the Android OS v2.3 only(was expecting a bit more). No words around regarding the price.
Samsung Galaxy S III
The world leader is on it’s own pace, with Samsung Galaxy S III, they are bringing a whooping 12 MP camera, quad core processor, the phone is said to have 4.65” AMOLED Plus HD display. Samsung Galaxy S III is said to have 2GB of RAM and Samsung is going to launch the device with the latest Android OS v4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. Not much in the air about the device, but lets check out the same when it will be out in the market this February 2012.
Nokia Lumia 900
Yep you read that right, Nokia with Microsoft is trying to regain it’s throne. Debuting this March 2012, this device is just similar to it’s predecessor Nokia Lumia 800. As the device is still tagged as a coming soon not much information about the specifications and features is available. But the device is said to have 1.4GHz processor, Clear-Black 4.3-inch AMOLED screen, an 8MP rear camera with single LED flash, 16GB and 32GB pre-installed storage, and more. After having a look at it’s leaked photos, it seems like there has been no change in the size as compared to it’s predecessor. Again, no words about this, yet to come Smartphone.
Last, but off course, not the least, HTC Edge is a beast whether be it a features, be it a size or whatever. Only device which is going to compete with Samsung Galaxy S III, as it also shares a quad core processor. 4.7 inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen. 8 MP camera which can record 720p HD videos. It is said to debut in the market early Q2 2012 with Android OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed. Tegra 3 system chip, quad core processor is surely going to attract gamers. Again a 8 MP camera but is capable of recording 1080p HD videos is a power packed smartphone in itself. Along with full connectivity support, the device is also a NFC enabled too. But with so many features to enjoy, the battery might fall short at only 1800mAh which is a bit disappointing.
So these are some top smartphones in 2012 to look out for. In a pool of so many alluring features and specifications, I would still like to go with the luxurious item in the list. Which one is your favorite?
