Samsung has launched their ultimate projector phone Galaxy beam in India on 19 July 2012. This Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) smartphone was featured in Mobile World Congress 12 held at Bangkok. Pre order for the same was started in India through Samsung India e Store few weeks back with a price tag of Rs 29,900/-. One free additional battery is also offered with every purchase as an introductory offer.
The main highlight of this smart phone is the inbuilt projector which helps the users to display and share multimedia content and presentations on a big projector screen or a clear surface like wall. The fifteen Lumens Pico projector helps you to share your photos, videos, presentation, games or anything in the screen instantly from a distance of two meters on a Fifty inch Screen, yeah virtually you can replace your TV !!
Ambiance mode facilitates instant customizations and decorations as per the ambient conditions. You can use this phone as an OHP (Over Head Projector) too, means can magnify and project the hard copies / objects which captured by the camera- Just place the paper or any other object under camera, focus and project it !!.
You can beam a enjoy a complete movie in big screen with a single recharge. 2000mAh Lithium battery can power the projector phone upto three hours of continuous play. Galaxy beam comes with a Five Megapixel Camera and inbuilt LED flash. Secondary camera is of 1.3 Mega Pixel. Heart of this smart phone is dual core 1 GHz processor with 786 MB RAM and 8 GB internal memory (Expandable up to 32 GB through SD card). Good hardware, but Gingerbread is outdated now

Samsung is always introducing new technology in their mobile. I think this mobile can be use as pocket projector. Its will help the teacher I think.
