Users can type a word the way it sounds using Latin characters and transliteration script will convert the word to its native script. Over years transliteration service has been provided by Google for web applications. Review

I have tried this utility for Malayalam language. Earlier I was using some other utilities like Varamozhi and Google transliteration bookmarklet. Earlier the main drawback of Google transliteration in Malayalam was the transliteration of  “Chillu” characters  and was much difficult to type the letter  “nte”. Now I feel the new Google Transliteration IME is best amidst all, with a well written algorithm converts almost any words phonetically with a great accuracy. Onscreen key map helps transliteration of odd words much easily. Further ” word suggestions as you type”  feature is very much helpful in reducing typing  efforts.
