Micromax Q7- The dual SIM QWERTY phone with WiFi

Micromax- the leading mobile manufacture of India has unveiled another handset in the Q series. Micromax Q7, intended to compete with the premium smart phones. For around Rs 5000/- this phone will be a good bargain.

This is the first WiFi enabled handset from Micromax, which is available in two colours-Black and SILVER. The camera is of 2 mega Pixel and comes with a standard 3.5 mm jack suites for music passionate.

This smart phone is comes with built in Face book, Nimbuzz, Multi messenger applications and Opera Mini for web browsing. The display is of 256 colour QVGA provided with track ball navigation and QWERTY key board.

The video player supportsMP3, 3GP and AVI file formats. The 800mAh Lithium battery claims to provide 4.4 hrs of talk time and 6 days standby time.

The main attraction of this handset is the WiFi support.  This dual band GSM phone also supports GPRS and EDGE for data communication. The phone internal memory is 78 MB which can be expandable up to 4 GB.

Downside:

The design of the phone is not much impressive. The phone not supporting 3G networks, which is inevitable nowadays .
