Lately there had been a lot of noise over internet in general about release of new iPhone 5, but all rumors and expectations went to drain when Tim Cook at wwdc announced iPhone 4S. iPhone 5 Preview and Specifications:
Many news were surfacing in the recent days that which device is going to be released by Apple. Today all the news and rumors were pretty much settled down when iPhone 4S was released by Apple.
No news about iPhone 5 came but the newly launched iPhone 4S has the same design like iPhone 4 but the hardware installed in it is new.
iPhone 4S Features
iPhone 4S supports both GSM and CDMA networks. It comes in black and white color and the price remains the same for both of these. No design changing has been done on iPhone 4S but hardware changes are being done. It is running on the dual core A5 chip. As compared to the previous version CPU performance is doubled and graphics performance is seven times improved. The camera also upgraded to 8 megapixels with the resolution of 3264×2448. 1080p video can be shooted from this device. It also has a new feature named Hybrid IR filter. We can assume the camera in this one is much better and improved from the ones came before. Battery timing is also good. 3G talk time up to 8 hours, 4 hours of 2G talk time, 6 hours of 3G browsing, and 9 hours of Wi-Fi browsing can be done. Two antennas are installed in the iPhone 4S with the ability to switch between both of these for better call quality and getting greater downloading speed.
Siri Feature
An awesome feature named Siri is included in this one. By this feature you can ask questions from your device and it will reply to you. You can ask it how’s the weather today or said it to set an alarm for a particular time of your desire. And start languages like English, French and German are supported by it but later in the beta versions more could be added.
iOS Update Release
On 12th October the updated iOS 5 will be released. New Improvements will be done like new notification updates system, wireless updates and twitter integration among others.
Price
You would get this device in 16GB, 32 GB and also in 64 GB model now. For 16GB the price is 199$, for 32GB it is 299$ and in the last for 64GB it is 399$. On 14th October the phone will be launched and a week before the pre-orders will be started.
