With the fast trends in technology, we, the consumers benefits the most since we are provided with the better gadgets for better customer experience. LCD’s will be a thing in the past just like the CRT’s which ruled the world for decades.

LCD TV’s are better than you think, I have a 52″ Sony one of the new models and I reckon mine beats an old CRT hands down even on standard definition, I agree OLED is probably the future but while the prices remain so high the LCD TV is certainly still alive and kicking.
